Founded in 1929 in Lumezzane, Abert is a leading Italian company in the manufacture of cutlery, tableware and professional items.

In its early days, the company stood out for the artisanal production of brass cutlery, then in 1950, it adopted steel, transforming its production.

In 1975, Abert innovated by becoming the first company in the world to produce colored cutlery by combining materials such as ABS, nylon and wood. Over the years, Abert grew with strategic acquisitions, such as the Broggi brands and Facix, and in 1994 obtained ISO 9002 certification, a pioneer in its sector.

The company also turned to the professional market by launching products for the Ho.Re.Ca sector in 2000.

Today, Abert is run by the fourth generation of the Bertoli family and remains true to its principles of excellence, innovation and quality.
